I wasn't convinced that you are fully appreciating just how ugly marabou storks really are from my previous photo, so I'm including another one here that should hopefully do the trick.

Dan - Have you seen a shoebill in person? Wow, I love that bird and would give anything to see one in the Mara. Guess there was one about eight years ago :<(
