The gift that keeps on gorging

It’s officially December, and that means the holiday season is finally upon us.

Perhaps you’ve got a picky friend who’s impossible to shop for. Maybe you're refusing to give your father one more book, or yet another silk tie. Or, maybe this year you are trying to instill the value of charity in your kids, and you’re looking for a more meaningful gift. If any of these scenarios are true, or if you’ve just got holiday shoppers’ block, then it’s your lucky day.

Give the gift of fisi! Make a donation to the Hyena Project in someone’s name, and they’ll receive a picture of their very own hyena, as well as the opportunity to name it whatever they like. In fact, in the spirit of giving, I’ll sweeten the deal by sending along a personally-written, custom-crafted description of their new furry friend.

Donations can be as large or as small as you like! Also, you can rest assured that every single cent of your gift will go to the continued running of this project, and will ultimately contribute to our understanding of these fascinating creatures. Plus, best of all (or maybe worst of all, depending on how much you enjoy this blog), we’ll be able to keep entertaining you with our exploits and adventures out here in the field.

Because, come on, who wouldn’t want to get one of these this year, tied up in a big shiny bow?
